Cold Plunge, Sauna ,and Dinning Experience Retreat

Located in Morganton, GA Horizontal Spans is constructed around Greek Mythology Earth, Fire, Air, and Water. The structure is meant to sit low into the hillside and sit seamlessly with earth and span out into its natural environment. The approach is a winding footpath up the hill and circulating the individual between the dense trees offering peaks to the structure below. From this approach the individual is sent into doubt and uncertainty to what they see and how they feel. Once arrival to the structure is met a clear circulation between the support spaces is set upon one long stretch of path with overhangs of Corten steel beams above one’s head.
